Nigel Thompson

RHAD, FSHAA, CECS

I qualified in 1994 working with a large National company. After 9 years I decided to develop my own business in order to offer clients a more personal service at more affordable prices.
Soon after I gained my Fellowship with The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiology and took a further approved qualification as a Clinical Ear Care Specialist which enables me to remove ear wax using irrigation, microsuction or manual methods. In 2013 I launched the first UK company to specialise in invisible and discreet hearing aids and, along with my son Peter, have steadily grown the business since then, diversifying so that we are now able to offer hearing aids from any of the major manufacturers that supply in the UK.

Peter J Thompson

FdSc, RHAD, MSHAA, CECS

I graduated from Anglia Ruskin university with a degree in Hearing Aid Audiology in 2011 where I then went straight into the private sector working alongside Dad.
Although hearing provision is available on the NHS I felt that, this way, I could offer a more diverse and bespoke service to my patients.
I am also a qualified Clinical Ear Care Specialist and I can remove wax and obstructions from your ear safely and comfortably using microsuction.
Having worked in the profession now for a number of years I have learnt a great deal and my focus is to provide a quality, professional and bespoke service using the latest equipment and procedures whilst still offering the comfort and peace of mind that you get from a family run business.

Alan Bean

HCA, WRS

I am the Accessories Manager with overall responsibility for sending out all your hearing aid batteries and accessories as required. I am a fully qualified Hearing Care Assistant with a keen interest in working with some of the amazing hearing technology that is now available – a far cry from my grandparents and parents’ prescriptions, and I am also qualified to carry out microsuction ear wax removal.

Dee Lazenby

I have been working with Nigel since he started his Independent Hearing Care business in 2003 and have been the first point of call for the patients working as master of operations in the backroom. I have NVQ Level 2 in both Business & Administration and Customer Services. As a hearing aid user myself I have experienced several different hearing systems fitted by Nigel and his son Peter over the years and have really noticed the benefit of advancing technology. I‘d be really happy to have a chat with anyone wishing to know what it’s like to wear hearing aids, as well as booking your appointments.
I look forward to hearing from you.
